Cosmetic Dentistry

Most of us would like to light up the room when we smile.  An attractive smile is one of the first things most people notice about you, and if your smile could be whiter, straighter, or more attractive, then it’s possible you are not putting your best smile forward personally, socially, or professionally.

There are many motivations for people wanting to improve their smiles  or straighten their teeth, including…

Health reasons…

  • Worn, chipped or cracked teeth
  • Gum recession
  • Jaw pain, headaches
  • Uneven bite
  • Trouble eating

Cosmetic reasons…

  • Teeth are not white enough or are discolored
  • Spacing of teeth is not even
  • Aged or worn smile
  • Teeth that appear too short or too long
  • Gummy smile
  • Smile is not prominent
  • Generally just not happy with appearance

With the technological advances now available through dentistry, the ways your smile can be reshaped and remodeled include different levels of treatment with individualized treatment plans, all made affordable by our payment options.  Your dental map to a new smile may involve…

Dr. Loden’s comprehensive evaluations and custom treatment plans will individualize your treatment plan to your specific wants and needs.  Our process for helping you achieve your dream smile includes…

  1. Evaluation of your goals and needs – Dr. Loden will talk with you about your concerns, goals, and lifestyle.  Two questions he will help you answer before treatments are discussed are:  What do you want to change about your smile?  What are your goals for dental health?  Once Dr. Loden understands your needs and desires, he will perform an examination, make models, take photos of your teeth, mouth and face, and evaluate your muscle harmony.  All this information will be used to create a detailed custom treatment program that will provide excellent dental health and exceptional dental esthetics.
  2. Preview Consultation – You will meet Dr. Loden and your treatment coordinator to discuss recommended treatment and options.  We will review your personal goals, answer all of your questions, and map out your treatment schedule.
  3. Treatment – Using Dr. Loden’s specially developed protocols, you will be an active participant in approving your smile design.  The initial steps may involve putting temporary restorations in place, such as teeth shaping and prototypes, designed to replicate the final restoration.  You will attend specific design review appointments to be sure you are 100% satisfied with the planned color and shape of your new smile.  With your approval, the treatments will begin and final restorations will be placed.
  4. Review and Celebration – With your new smile finished, we will meet for a review.  We will confirm that your bite is comfortable, functional, and perfectly balanced, and we will make any final subtle adjustments to the shape and contour of your teeth.  This is a time for final photos and for celebration!

Smile improvement can make you look more youthful and give your face more balance.  A new smile will improve your oral health, your confidence, and your self-esteem.  A healthy bite, healthy gums, and a healthy smile mean a healthier you.  Dr. Loden and our team can help you determine the best way for you to get that healthy smile.  Ask us how…
